This is to open a blog. Give me comments as I go along. Look under short stories for my attempts at short-short fiction. Come back to the site soon for a short blurb of my just published novel and an explanation of how to buy the novel as an ebook or trade paperback.

The book finally became reality! It’s like giving birth (or having a kidneystone) Glad it’s over. Proud. Scared of negative comments and criticism. I told the publisher, “Doctors bury their mistakes. Painters repaint the canvas but authors make copies of their mistakes and send them to everyone.”

To read the short blurb, read the 18 page excerpt,or buy the book, go to: http://www.dpdotcom.com/last_mission.htm

You’ll enjoy the fast paced action.

The book is on the market!!!!! Years back, when doing football broadcasts on a low power station, we’d do play-by-play and couldn’t hear the station or get feedback, to know how the broadcast was going. Not until the following Wednesday, did we listen to the re broadcast and see how we’d sounded on the broadcast. That’s the feeling with the book…is anyone reading it? …do they find it rewarding? How many mistakes are they finding? Will it be successful enough so that I’ll want to publish one of the other four I have?

Perhaps, if one person tells me they like it, it’ll be a success. After all the writing is a cartharsis and fullfilling in itself. Am I writing for THEM, or for me?

This was orgionally memorial day, until the government employees decided they should get three day holidays.

My publisher is on an island off the coast of England. He is a real prince and has spent a large block of time designing a business card with the novel featured on it to be passed out to advertise my novel. He’s modified and sent it in several attachments. Apparently put is an English program I can’t open. pdf we could use. Thanks, thanks, and more thanks to David.
