Today I went to a small church in a small town to deliver the 11:00 a.m. message. The church was locked. There was a new policeman in town who came by and thought the church had inadverntly been left unlocked. He locked the sanctuary and social hall. The oldest member of the church knew the church hadn’t been locked since before WWII. Apparently there is no key to it. We were able to hold the service in the fellowship hall and didn’t damage the chruch door to get in. Tomorrow, a locksmith will open the church and make keys for the large locks. Security for God’s house has to be increased, according to the police. Fortunately the church was just locked and not closed permanently.
A minor bump in the road of life.
The Lord will always make a way,If we seek him we will find him.
