Writing? That’s what this blog is about! Supposedly I write three hours a day, between yard work, volunteer work and preparing for talks that I’m to give. At least when I worked, my days were limited to 12 hours with another hour travel time. three hours a day writing? Three hours a day, typing and editing? Three hours in the yard? Three hours volunteer work? I’m glad retirement is easy, aren’t you?

I have read “The Last Mission” and I throughly enjoyed it. I read it sitting by the pool this spring and early summer. I loved it and to think, I actually know someone that can write. Great job. Kudos to Tom.
I need to do a postscript to my comment about reading “The Last Mission”. Not to give away the plot or story I must say that the most interesting thing was the plan to rescue people from a compound somewhat like the one where Osama bin Laden was shot and killed this year. Tom planned and actually wrote in his book 3 years ago a very similiar plan. Now, tell me, just what do you think of that? Read this very interesting book and you will also see the same plan. Like I said before, “to think I actually know someone that could do that!” Another round of kudos to Tom Vancel. Very good job!
